Land Stewardship
Scholz Nonprofit Law is proud to serve Living Lands Trust, a national organization committed to removing land and buildings from the speculative real estate market and permanently holding them for the common good. Living Lands Trust works with agricultural landowners to transition land from ownership to stewardship, and provides access to land for farmers, ranchers, and eco-entrepreneur stewards. By working collaboratively with its stewards, Living Lands Trust designs long-term, mutually sustaining agreements that carry the mission of stewardship forward across generations.
We assist Living Lands Trust with their innovative leases and land acquisitions, including the recent acquisition of their 900-acre High Hope Ranch in the Cross Timbers region of Texas
