Non-Partisan Legal Assistance
As a 501(c)(3) non-partisan legal organization, the American Constitution Society (Washington DC) supports a nationwide network of progressive lawyers, law students, judges, scholars, advocates, to advocate for laws and legal systems that strengthen democratic legitimacy. The Scholz Nonprofit Law team provides advice on such matters as advocacy communications with its members to ensure 501c3 compliance and address a variety of operations issues including employment, lease, and contracts with vendors.
