Nonprofit Training and Workshops
We partner with the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools, to provide training and guidance to charter schools on:
- obtaining tax-exempt status,
- board governance,
- charter contract negotiations, and
- compliance
Scholz Nonprofit Law provides legal counsel to charter schools through its partner, Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools (WRCCS). Specifically, we help charter schools with the legal steps of getting established: incorporation, bylaws, and the IRS application for recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization. More generally, we’re available to answer questions related to governance.
