Meet Haley

Haley Swanson supports nonprofits and mission-driven organizations by assisting with entity formation, compliance, and the tax aspects of exempt organization transactions.

Before entering the legal field, Haley worked as an auditor at PwC, primarily serving clients in the consumer-packaged goods sector. She contributed to projects ranging from routine audits to a $500M acquisition. Haley is a CPA (inactive) with the state of Minnesota.

As a law student, Haley deepened her commitment to social impact through restorative justice, facilitating dialogues and healing work for clients on both sides of harm. She also serves as the treasurer on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Women’s Network, advancing equity for women and girls in the state.

Before joining Scholz Nonprofit Law as an Associate, Haley served as our law clerk. Haley earned a BBA, a Master of Accountancy, and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
