Reminder: IRS Form 990 Due Date
Most tax-exempt organizations are required to file an “annual report” (Form 990) with
the IRS each year. For organizations whose accounting year is the calendar year, the
due date is May 15. It’s important to file each year – organizations that fail to file the
annual report for three consecutive years will have their tax-exempt status automatically
revoked.

Form 990 has different versions depending on gross revenues. Generally, if your gross
revenues are $50,000 or less, you qualify for Form 990-N. If your revenues are greater,
then you’ll need to submit Form 990-EZ or Form 990.

If your accounting year is the calendar year, submit your IRS annual report (or an
extension) today!
